In fact, I only use Milky Jelly Tonning Essence and Milky Moisture Cream in the morning, while  Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask is used before I sleep to prep my skin for the next morning. I challenged myself to use only 2 skin care products in the morning before I put on make up, and Half Moon Eye's products did not disappoint me. Like what I have mentioned, I use Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask at night before I hit the sack to prep my skin for the next morning. Do you know what's the main ingredient in this Pink Fruity Mask judging from the colour itself? It's dragon fruit! This is the second dragon fruit beauty product that I have ever tried after SEP dragon fruit sheet mask, the Koreans are really creative and innovative! 

Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask targets on pore cleaning and dead skin cells exfoliation. I do exfoliation twice a week to remove all the dead skin cells and impurities in my pores. Girls you might not be aware but let me tell you how important exfoliating step is. Imagine that all the dead skin cells are piling up on your skin surface and all your pores are clogged with impurities, it's useless for you to use the best skin care product because all the goodness will sit on top of your skin instead of being absorbed down deep into your epidermal tissues. Hence, it's really important to exfoliate your skin to facilitate the absorption of subsequent skin care products. Now you know why I'm so hardworking on exfoliating the dead skin cells, you should start exfoliate yours too! 

To use Pink Fruity Wash Off Mask,

1. Apply the pink mask all over your face, try to be careful and don't break the black particles during product application.
2. Leave the mask on for 10 min.
3. When the colour of mask lightens and dries up, gently wash it off with warm water. Now is the time to break all the particles while massaging your face in circular motion as you wash the product off. 

Let's have a closer look at the pink mask on my face, can you spot the tiny black particles? They are the micro exfoliating particles that are going to sand off all the dullness and dead skin cells. Don't you think that they resemble the seeds of dragon fruit very much? The mask pack has a creamy texture that it can be spread out very easily. It also has a light scent of dragon fruit, smelling really yummy and refreshing to be honest! When I had the mask on my face, I can feel a gentle tingling sensation all over my face. The slight sting is unexpectedly enjoyable and addictive (what's wrong with me lolll don't judge) and I can't help from imagining that there are many mini workers that are busy cleaning my pores lol. 

The mask will dry out in 10-15 minutes. You can see that cracks are showing up and the dried areas manifest a lighter shade of pink. I put some water onto the dried mask and gave my face a good massage. After washing the mask off, I felt a skin tightening sensation (you know, the sensation you will get when you wash your face with soap bar) and I was terrified because I thought my skin moisture was being stripped out. To my horror, I ran to my mirror and scrutinized my skin condition. Oh wait, my skin felt smooth and soft on touch, it doesn't make sense if its moisture has been stripped out right? I then realized that the skin tightening sensation actually came from the deep pore cleaning and pore tightening process! Phew! I checked on my skin and found it really clean and smooth. I'm deeply in love with its thorough exfoliating action, my skin is all ready for the subsequent skin care steps the next morning.

The silica powder suspended within the toner can help to regulate sebum excretion, hence giving you a clean chok chok milky skin. Now who can tell me what is a fig? Hint: We eat it when we are having nausea and giddy head. 

Tada! This is dried fig (无花果) and I bet all Malaysian Chinese has eaten this before. Eating dried fig for a quarter of century and I never know that fig extracts are beneficial to skin! Fig extracts are rich in Iron, Calcium and Vitamin C, not forgetting that it is a powerful anti-oxidant too.

Each of the Half Moon Eyes Milky Jelly Tonning Essence comes with a complimentary box of cotton pad of top notch quality. Both sides of the cotton pad is attached with a non-woven fabric in order to prevent the cotton pad from getting torn, distorted or rolled during product application. The cotton pad also provides a mild exfoliation as you apply the tonning essence.

Being the first step of my morning skin care routine, I soak the cotton pad with a generous amount of Milk Jelly Tonning Essence and wipe it all over my face in an upward motion. The tonning essence has a negligible fragrance and I absolutely love it. It did a wonderful job in softening my skin cells but I wish it could be more moisturizing as an essence. I was left behind with a powdery finish due to the presence of silica powder in the essence. My skin finish is basically plump yet matte after the toning step.

Before I proceed with make up steps, I make sure that my skin is well hydrated and moisturized by Half Moon Eyes Milky Moisture Cream. Before I started to use Milky Moisture Cream, I was using Dr. Young Moisturizing Gel and I feel that I need a tad more of moisturization and hydration, gel type moisturizer is a bit too light for me given that I have really dry cheek. It's such a dilemma to pick the right moisturizer. I want it to be really moisturizing and I want it to be lightweight because I dislike the sticky and oily skin finish. I love the fresh and clean feel that gel type moisturizer gives, but I always wish that it can be richer to quench the thirst of my super dry cheek. 

To be really honest, I immediately fall in love with Half Moon Eyes Milky Moisture Cream when I first tried it on my skin. Not exaggerating but this moisturizer manages to strike a balance between richness and greasiness, everything is just nice. 

The cream feels like a milk jelly and it is so lightweight that I got confused whether it is a cream or a gel. I applied a generous amount of Milky Moisture Cream, expecting some greasiness on my skin and I was wrong. I was left with a really fresh and weightless finish, like what most of the gel moisturizer will give you. I was immediately impressed! The cream is extraordinarily rich and moisturizing that I personally think that it can be used as a sleeping mask at night. My skin is supple and well boosted with hydration, is this how the Koreans create their chok chok milky skin? Despite of its richness, the cream is absorbed by skin instantly upon application. I believe that the previous exfoliating and toning steps do facilitate the absorption of cream too. Whenever I'm in a rush or feeling lazy, I slap some Milky Moisture Cream on and I'm ready to put on my make up. It is so moisturizing and hydrating that I don't need any other cream or moisturizer after using it. I will give 5 stars out of 5 for Half Moon Eyes Milky Moisture Cream!
