b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask Review

If you are a follower of my Instagram account, you will know that I'm an avid mask lover. I'm so enthusiastic with mask that I actually do mask twice a week the least. Recently, I have tried O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask from b.liv and I tell myself that I must share this interesting mask with you guys on my blog - it's fun, hassle free and super easy to use!

Like what b.liv says, healthy skin starts from healthy pores, it's really important to cleanse the pores deeply so that your skin can shine brightly. A diamond is just a stone before polishing, so is your skin! Consisting 3 key ingredients of Oxygen Bubbles, Rice Powder and Red Soft Beads, b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is aimed to achieve a brighter complexion by 3 actions: purifying, brightening and exfoliating. 

The mask looks like any other face cream, I won't know that it's a bubble mask if nobody tells me! It's not so visible from the photo (I apologize for the over-exposure, sorry!) but there are some red beads suspended in the mask. I'm not so comfortable to have my bubble mask being packaged in a jar because the mask starts to bubble up if I leave the opened jar unattended for too long. My tip is, close the jar immediately after scooping out the desired amount of mask. This minimizes contamination and reduces the formation of bubbles inside the jar. On the other hand, do not ever to use your fingers to scoop the mask out of the jar as that could cause it to bubble up, always use the spatula provided.

To use b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask, scope a suitable amount of mask and apply it on your skin, accompanied by a gentle facial massage. Rich and dense bubbles will start to foam in seconds. After that, leave the bubbles on your face for 5-10 minutes for the oxygen bubbles to do their works. They will deeply penetrate into skin to wash away pore-clogging, impurities, debris and excess sebum, leaving skin bright, soft and full of luster. Before rinsing the bubbles with lukewarm water, give your face another round of gentle massage to ensure a deeper and thorough cleansing action. 

Look, the oxygen bubbles are super dense and rich! I love the hissing sound and fizzing sensation that the bubbles mask gives, it's really comfortable and satisfying! Image soaking your head in a pool of coke, get it? 

It's always fun to use a bubble mask, b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask makes my masking experience so much interesting and enjoyable. One thing to take note is that it's not easy to get an even layer of bubbles on your skin. I used the mask for a few times before I get the right way to create an uniform layer of bubbles. All you need to do is to apply the mask generously, especially at corners such as the sides of nose and chin area. Don't be stingy and do apply a thick layer of the mask for the best effects.

Remember the red beads that I mentioned earlier? It's so amazing that they actually melt away during the bubbles formation. The melted and dissolved red cellulose beads exfoliate dead skin cells, thus resulting in a softer, smoother and glowing skin. As much as I love physical facial exfoliation, chemical exfoliation as such is simple and easy to carry out, it's suitable to those who are busy and lazy!

When I thought the main function of b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is to brighten the skin, it actually does more than that. After using the mask, my skin becomes softer and more supple due to the exfoliation action. I would like to emphasize again that the exfoliation action is so effective that I can safely skip my weekly physical exfoliation. I believe that part of the skin brightening effect comes from the fact the mask removes dead skin cells, impurities and debris which contribute to skin dullness, hence revealing a brighter skin tone.

In a nutshell, b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask is a convenient brightening mask that I will reach to when I'm too lazy to use a clay mask or sheet mask.
