My Anti-Aging Skin Care Regime with Mary & May Blackberry Series

I can't stress enough the importance of starting anti-aging skin care regime before signs of aging appear on your skin - prevention is always better than cure and this is particularly accurate when it comes to skin problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, saggy skin and pigmentation. Got myself another anti-aging skin care set from Style Korean and this time, I gave Mary & May a try, a relatively new brand to me.

What I really love about this set is the star anti-aging ingredient, Blackberry! Well known for its high content of powerful anti-oxidants, Blackberry is able to prevent skin aging caused by free radicals. My anti-aging skin care regime is pretty simple: Toner > Serum/Essence > Cream, and a weekly mask session. 

Mary & May Vegan CICA Tea Tree AHA PHA Toner 200ml

After cleansing my face, I will tone my skin using Mary & May Vegan CICA Tea Tree AHA PHA Toner to prepare my skin for the subsequent skin care absorption. I'm not picky when it comes to toner, I'm satisfied as long as the product is able to lightly hydrate and soften my skin. Mary & May Vegan CICA Tea Tree AHA PHA Toner does a lot more than a conventional toner or should I call it a hydrating lotion instead? Not only that it's super hydrating and soothing (all thanks to the 300,000ppm Tea Tree Leaf Water), the toner exfoliates dead skin cells as well! This a dual-action toner which gently exfoliates first, and hydrates next - got to admit that I love it! 

Texture wise, the toner is pretty watery so you can expect an almost immediate product absorption. Beauty tips: Place a cotton pad soaked with the toner at dry area of your skin for  5 min to fix flaky and patchy skin, it works like magic!

Mary & May Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Serum 30ml

Mary & May Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Serum is a high functioning serum that contains 1000ppm Idebenone and 20% Blackberry Complex. What a bottle of goodness for tired and aged skin! 

Did you notice the unique dark yellow color of the serum? This comes from idebenone raw materials and you can tell how rich the idebenone is in every drop of the serum. The serum is quite viscous and rich in consistency. I would suggest to give your skin a little massage to facilitate the product absorption. Do give some time for the serum to set in before proceeding to the next skin care step. 

I used the serum for 2 weeks, day and night and have observed a brighter and more radiant complexion, the improvement in skin elasticity is significant! Instead of ironing out wrinkles and fine lines overnight (which is impossible), the serum promotes skin health in a holistic approach. Aged skin tends to look tired and dull, hence giving people a haggard look. The serum does an amazing job in fixing all these skin woes, giving you a glowing and youthful look in just 2 weeks time. I would definitely recommend this serum to all ladies in their mid-late twenties. 

 

Mary & May Vegan Blackberry Complex Cream Essence 140ml

This is probably the most unique essence that I have tried so far, a cream essence full of Blackberry Complex where the blackberry goodness will melt in the cream upon shaking, doesn't it sound interesting? I have never seen something like this before! It's an essence, but it contains cream? 

Mary & May Vegan Blackberry Complex Cream Essence comes with 2 layers, the cream and the essence layer. When lightly shaken, Mary & May's special formulation technology called Double Phase Emulsion enables the thick and viscous cream to dissolve in the light essence. With this, the product is able to deliver high moisturizing power of a cream and refreshing sensation of an essence in one single drop, this is so mind-blowing! 

My experience with this cream essence is fantastic. The mixed solution is very lightweight and non-greasy, but at the same time it moisturizes skin so well and deeply just like how a conventional cream does, it's strange and simply unbelievable that the two contradicting facts can be put together, this is truly a game-changer in the beauty industry! In brief, you can get a deep, long-lasting moisturization (that usually comes from a conventional heavy and oily cream) from a super lightweight and refreshing solution. The experience is beyond words and you really try it yourself, it's so special! 

Mary&May Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Intensive Total Care Cream 70ml

Lastly, let's seal all the moisture with Mary&May Idebenone + Blackberry Complex Intensive Total Care Cream, a super rich cream that promises a 48hr moisture retention. Similar to the serum, the presence of Idebenone gives the cream a signature yellow color, don't mistake it as artificial coloring. 

The cream has a gel texture but don't be fooled by its lightweight consistency, the cream is extremely moisturizing, just like a sleeping mask. I was very surprised by how hydrating and moisturizing the cream is at my first try of the product, my dry skin loves the cream so much, it literally quenched the thirst of my skin! I'm not sure how will it work on oily skin but one thing for sure is that all dry skin and combination skin will love this cream to every bit, the 48hr-long moisturization effect is real! The hydrating power is exceptional, I'm going to bring this tub of goodness with me when I'm traveling next time, it's just so good!

Mary & May CICA TeaTree Soothing Wash off Pack 125g

Not forgetting my weekly mask session for deep, thorough pore cleansing and purification. It's really important to deep cleanse your pore regularly to prevent blackheads, whiteheads and enlarged pores. Mary & May CICA TeaTree Soothing Wash off Pack comes in a big tub of 125g, this will last me for a while!

Containing grounded Cica leaves, stems and flowers, Mary & May CICA TeaTree Soothing Wash off Pack comes handy when your skin needs an immediate soothing and calming remedy. I love the natural fragrance of the mask so much, it smells like a forest to me and it's really calming. The mask has a soft and creamy texture, it spreads on skin smoothly just like a butter. 

Can you see the grounded Cica leaves, stems and flowers on my skin? What I love this mask the most is that it does not strip moisture off my skin like most of the other clay masks do. Instead, it makes my skin so well moisturized and hydrated, my skin becomes really soft and supple. The mask also does a great job in balancing my skin's sebum secretion, I have noticed a reduced shine at my T zone.
