Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette Review

I know I am a bit late but late is better than never so yeah, I got my very own Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette, like finally! I have heard how great and awesome the Urban Decay Naked series are but I never have the urge to bag them home because I'm not good at European style eye make up. The previous Naked series are more of Earth-toned palettes and due to the great colour pay-off of Urban Decay eyeshadows, I find them a little too mature to my liking. I own a limited edition Urban Decay eyeshadow palette back in 2013 or 2014 and I really like it. (Side note: I tried to look for the review post from my blog and guess what, I couldn't find it! Only then I realized that I have not reviewed it despite having the photos taken back in 2015, what sorcery is this?!) I have been wanting to get myself another Urban Decay palette and when the Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette was launched, I know this is the one

I'm a huge fan of warm eyeshadows as the warm shades tend to make my small Asian eyes pop out better and they make me to look more approachable. In addition, warm eyeshadows complement my overall make up better since I'm more into Korean and Japanese make up styles. I do have several cool-toned eyeshadow palettes but I hardly reach to them for my daily make up.

This is so breathtakingly beautiful, every shade is so gorgeous! Not only that it is pretty to look at, the eyeshadow is of premium quality with superb colour pay-off. It is no doubt that Urban Decay produces the best eyeshadow in the world.

The casing is sturdy but it also means that the palette is heavy. Its significant weight is a drawback that stops me from bringing this gorgeous palette around and it's definitely the last thing I want to carry with me.

There are 12 warm shades in the palettes with 3 types of finish: matte, shimmer and glitter. It seems like having 3 types of finish in one palette is an unspoken rule that all brands are following now.

Now please take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.

My favourite shades are Lumber, He Devil and Dirty Talk, they are so wearable! I love how the shades are suitable for daily and special occasions, all you need to do is to blend with different shades to create different looks. Basically I will use shades on the left for work purpose and shades on the right for weekends and events at night. I'm thinking to do a simple eye make up tutorial using Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette, what do you think about it?

Love,
