I have combination skin and the sebum secretion at the T zone on my face is extraordinarily active, my T zone always gets oily and it shines bright like a diamond during the midday - No girl wants her face to shine like a disco ball I tell you. Do you remember that I did a review on Maybelline White Superfresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++ before? This is just another awesome product from the White Superfresh series! Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder is a liquid foundation which gives a powdery finish to the skin, very special isn't it? Unlike most of the foundation or BB cream that contain oil, this foundation has a unique powder-in-water formula provides an all-day white, fresh and matte look with a lightweight feel. Imagine that you won’t need any touch-ups throughout the day, how convenient that will be!
On the other hand, the liquid powder can help to protect the skin against:
- Dullness due to air pollution
- Shininess due to humidity
- Sweat & drying due to the heat and daily activity
- Burnt skin due to exposure to the sun
Not forgetting that it provides a SPF50+++/PA skin protection too! I love the high SPF protection since I work under the sun quite often now. I have high hope towards this product since all of the features that it claims are very appealing and attractive to me.
Being housed in a conventional bottle with pointed tip, the product can be dispensed effortlessly. However, it spills a little since the liquid powder is very watery and it's really hard to control the amount of the product to be dispensed, it just flows like nobody's business. I think I need more practices with it haha!
As I mentioned, the liquid powder is very watery and thus, it can be spread on the skin with minimum effort. The best part is that you can spread the product evenly and uniformly on your face without using a make up brush, fingertip is good enough! Now let's see how it works on my face.

Indeed, the liquid powder left a clean, matte and fresh finish on my skin as it claimed. It also did a great job in keeping my skin well hydrated, there's no cakiness and stickiness. Being a foundation, it provides a moderate coverage that most of my imperfections and fine lines are nicely concealed upon application of the product. In a nut shell, the product promises what it claims but I personally think that it would be better if it can provide a better coverage. Anyway, don't forget that Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder is retailed at a super affordable price of RM 29.90 only, what else you ask for more? It's worth every penny! I really like it for that it keeps my face matte and shine free all day long, I would definitely restock it after finishing my current bottle.
