Maybelline Pure BB Mineral- 8-in-1 BB Mousse
RM 49.90
I'm using Maybelline Pure BB Mineral 8-in-1 BB cream and I really love its shade and its coverage effect. When I first heard about BB Mousse, I was very curious in this product. BB Mousse? Is it something similar to hair mousse? Well let's find out together.
The BB mousse must be well shaken before pumping the mousse out for the best effect. Here I pumped out a small amount of BB mousse (20 cents size). This amount of BB mousse is more than enough to be applied on the entire face. Remember not to pump too much of BB mousse at one time, you might not need that much as you thought.
A closer look at the BB mousse. The BB mousse is very airy, with many air bubbles suspended in the BB cream, so it proves that BB mousse is something similar to hair mousse!
I left the BB mousse for 1 minute to see whether its texture changed. Here is the outcome. The air bubbles within the BB mousse started to disappear and the BB mousse became more watery.
Upon application to the skin, the mousse turned into liquid form immediately and it can be spread very easily. In fact, this is the BB cream with the least spreading resistance that I have ever tried!
Before application of BB mousse
The fine lines on the back of my hand are quite obvious and visible.
I think it's the time for me to invest on a good hand cream T.T
After application of BB Mousse
It can be seen that the fine lines on the back of my hand are less obvious.
Basically, the coverage effect of BB Mousse is exactly the same as that of Maybelline Mineral 8-in-1 BB cream. Thus I'm making assumption that both of the products are the same, just that they come in different form, one in traditional cream form and one in mousse form. No doubt, I love the coverage effect and the natural shade of BB mousse. However, what I don't like about the BB mousse is that it's really hard to control its nozzle pump. I tend to pump out too much BB mousse at one pump and it's really wasteful. (I don't waste anything on this Earth!) Selling at RM49.90 each, Maybelline BB Mousse is very affordable considering its nice shade and good coverage effect. However, personally I will not replenish another BB Mousse after I finish this bottle. Instead, I will go for the Maybelline Pure Mineral- 8-in-1 BB cream since both of them are equally good. To me, BB cream is more convenient and user-friendly.

Love,
This product looks really interesting! I haven't tried a mousse foundation before but I have been using a mousse cleanser and I'm not sure how I feel about it!

Dear Lily,
DeleteYes it is very interesting and special and frankly speaking, I don't find them useful. I would still prefer a BB cream.
Is it waterproof?
ReplyDeleteI have used a mousse base bb cream. It will melt easily!

很可惜,這是不防水的~建議在上完妝之後再撲finishing powder~~
